Patton Avenue Learning Center receives ‘Star 4 rating’ from Keystone Stars program | Reading Area

READING, Pa. – The Patton Avenue Learning Center in Reading’s Oakbrook neighborhood is celebrating a big accomplishment.

The center earned a star-four designation just seven months after opening.

This is the highest designation in the Keystone Stars program, which is a state rating system for child care.

The center says it is primarily focused on community, caring for 41 children, including 18 from Oakbrook Housing.

Several employees at the center have also lived in Oakbrook.
