A Lehigh Valley diner will soon say goodbye to the community when it closes this weekend.
Susquehanna Street Diner will close 9 p.m. Sunday at 1701 E. Susquehanna St. in Salisbury Township, according to an online announcement Tuesday.
“Every meal you shared with us, every visit, every recommendation, and every kind word helped make our restaurant what it was,” the announcement said. “We are incredibly grateful for all the memories we have created together. Serving you and being a part of your lives has been an honor and a privilege. Although this chapter is coming to an end, we will always carry the memories, friendships, and support you gave us. Thank you for believing in us, supporting our dream, and allowing us to serve you.”
The diner opened in 2023 at the property that once hosted Mama Minniti’s, MaGia’s Friendly Italian, Pantry Diner and Francesco’s Italian Ristorante & Pizzeria.
