HANOVER Twp., Pa. – The coroner has identified the 21-year-old from Moore Township who died in a 3-vehicle crash including a tractor-trailer on Monday.
Hailey E. Weil, 21, was pronounced dead on Monday at 12:53 p.m. in the Emergency Department at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Muhlenberg, the coroner says.
According to the coroner, her cause of death has been ruled as multiple traumatic injuries. The manner of death is an accident.
Weil was the operator of a motor vehicle that was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer at approximately 11:35 a.m., as noted by a crash-detection alert on the decedent’s iPhone.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Race Street and Airport Road in Lehigh County and involved 3 vehicles.
The Pennsylvania State Police, Bethlehem Station, and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are actively investigating the collision.
