The Millcreek Township School District Board has approved a series of personnel changes designed to ensure continuity in elementary school leadership as the district prepares for the start of the new academic year.
District officials said the leadership transitions were prompted by several staff members accepting new professional opportunities during the summer, creating openings that allowed other experienced educators within the district to step into leadership roles.
The approved appointments include:
Tami Pulice as Interim Principal of Chestnut Hill Elementary School
Michelle Nageli as Assistant Principal of Chestnut Hill Elementary School
Amy Harris as Assistant Principal of Tracy Elementary School
Andrew Burdick as Interim Assistant Principal of Grandview Elementary School
Tami Pulice brings more than 20 years of experience in Millcreek Township School District and nearly three decades in education overall. Since 2022, she has served as Assistant Principal at Grandview Elementary School, where she played a key role in supporting students, staff, and families. Her appointment as Interim Principal of Chestnut Hill positions her to continue that work in a new leadership capacity.
Joining Pulice at Chestnut Hill is Michelle Nageli, who has been part of the school community since 2015. A trusted guidance counselor, Nageli also served as Interim Assistant Principal in 2024. She has dedicated 26 years to MTSD and brings nearly 30 years of educational experience to her new role as Assistant Principal.
Amy Harris transitions to Tracy Elementary School as Assistant Principal after most recently serving in the same position at Chestnut Hill Elementary School. She brings nearly three decades of administrative experience, including service within MTSD since 2022.
At Grandview Elementary School, Andrew Burdick will serve as Interim Assistant Principal. He joined MTSD in 2020 and most recently served as Interim Assistant Principal at Asbury Elementary School earlier this year. Burdick has approximately 20 years of educational experience and a strong background in supporting students and staff.
District leaders said the appointments will help maintain stability and strong leadership across Millcreek’s elementary schools as students and staff return for the new school year. The newly appointed administrators will work closely with faculty, families, and district leaders to support student achievement and continue the district’s commitment to educational excellence.
