Kitten ‘wedged tightly’ between car door frame rescued in Penn Hills
PENN HILLS TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A kitten is recieving treatment after Penn Hills officials said it was found “wedged tightly” in the door frame of a vehicle.
In a post from the Penn Hills VFD Station 225/Thad Stevens VFD, a kitten was found stuck between the door jamb and fender panel of a vehicle.
Crews, alongside officials from the Penn Hills Police Department, worked carefully together to remove the door and loosen the fender panel, allowing the kitten to be safely freed.
Once rescued, police took the kitten to a local veterinary office for treatment.
“Great teamwork by everyone involved to safely rescue this little one,” the VFD said in the post.
