Lancaster Township police charge Philadelphia man in $8,000 fraud case
Police in Lancaster Township have charged a Philadelphia man with identity theft and fraud after he allegedly impersonated a bank employee and used stolen account information to make more than $8,000 in unauthorized purchases.
Authorities said 26-year-old Kadeem Pierre spoofed a corporate bank phone number, pretended to be a bank employee, and used the stolen information at retail stores in the Philadelphia region.
Pierre is charged with identity theft, access device fraud, and other related offenses.
Police believe there may be additional victims.
