West Point Band

The West Point Band, the Army’s oldest musical organization, returns to Scranton on Thursday in celebration of America’s 250th birthday. Wild Women NEPA Festival 2026

Wild Women NEPA Festival 2026 is Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Lazybrook Park in Tunkhannock. The outdoor event brings together women for a day focused on wellness, creativity and connection. Pittston Tomato Festival

The 2026 Pittston Tomato Festival will be held in Pittston on Thursday, 5-10 p.m., Friday, 3-11 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Family-friendly activities and community events fill the downtown streets throughout the weekend. Puppy Palooza

Puppy Palooza is Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Green Dog Barkery in Wyoming. Pawcasso Pet Faire

The Walk In Art Center is bringing back its paint with a pet event, “Pawcasso,” on Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The event in Schuylkill Haven will take place on the green space in front of the center. There will also be pet product vendors, pet adoptions, obedience and police dog demonstrations and nail clippings. At noon, people and pets are invited to participate in the Parkway Pet Parade.
