Think you have what it takes to entertain a crowd at the historic Ritz Theater in downtown Scranton?
NEPA Youth Shelter, in partnership with The Ritz Theater, is seeking the most unique, talented, and entertaining singers in Northeastern Pennsylvania to perform at their first-ever NEPA Youth Voices fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 17.
Performance slots are open for anyone between the ages of 14 and 24. To fill out an audition form, visit nepayouthshelter.org/nepa-youth-voices. The deadline to apply is Friday, Aug. 21, with Zoom auditions hosted by NEPA Youth Shelter officials beginning the week of Sunday, Aug. 23. There will be cash prizes for the winners: first place, $500; second place, $250; and third place, $150.
Doors for the event at the Ritz Theater will open at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, with the show beginning at 6 p.m. The fundraiser supports the mission and ongoing efforts of NEPA Youth Shelter while bringing the community together for an evening of entertainment.
