The Diamond, which began as an internet-only station, is now available on 102.3 HD3 and provides 500 hours of commercial-free music.

“The Diamond was created with the vision to bring the culture to the 570,” said Anthony Ruiz, owner of The Diamond. “Getting onto a terrestrial signal is a huge milestone for us. We’ve built this from the ground up, and now we’re excited to bring the station to an even larger audience across the region.”

Programming features a mix of contemporary Hip-Hop and R&B, specialty mixes, local music, interviews, entertainment and original programming. The station will continue its commitment to connecting local artists, businesses and community organizations with its growing audience.

The Diamond gets its name from its birth city, Wilkes-Barre.
