Greetings, comrades! It is I, your El Presidente, reporting to you live from my luxury suite at the Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania, where I have commandeered the best seats in the house for tonight’s AEW Collision! My dear friend Esteban the capybara is already enjoying a fine spread of artisanal cheeses and imported crackers as we prepare for what promises to be a glorious evening of professional wrestling action. The capitalist pig Tony Khan may control the means of production in AEW, but tonight, we the people shall enjoy the fruits of the workers’ labor in the squared circle!
Then TBS Champion Willow Nightingale competes fiercely against Kamille at AEW Dynamite: Spring Breakthru.
Tonight’s AEW Collision airs live at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and HBO Max from right here in Reading, Pennsylvania, with just eight days remaining until AEW All In: London at Wembley Stadium! And comrades, what a card the bourgeoisie have assembled for us this evening. We have a PPV-worthy Champion vs. Champion match, plus two AEW Continental Challenge Cup Quarterfinal matches that will determine the final two semifinalists who advance to next Wednesday’s showdown in Glasgow.
I must tell you, this reminds me of the time I was dining with Kim Jong-un and Dennis Rodman at my volcano lair, and we were discussing the importance of keeping your promises. Kim was explaining his nuclear program, Dennis was explaining his rebounding technique, and I was explaining why you should never give a title shot to a dangerous challenger just eight days before the biggest match of your life. If only Willow Nightingale had been there to hear this wisdom!
AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Willow Nightingale (c) vs. TBS Champion Maya World

AEW Women’s World Champion Willow Nightingale is putting her title on the line against TBS Champion Maya World tonight, making good on a promise she made when before she won the title from “The Toxic Spider,” Thekla: World would get the first shot. Nightingale wanted to be a woman of her word, so she’s giving World the chance of a lifetime tonight in Reading.
That’s quite a match to grant just eight days before Nightingale is scheduled to defend her AEW Women’s World Title against Mercedes Moné at All In: London. In fact, after accepting the match, World wasted no time in reminding Nightingale that World could be the one defending against Moné in Wembley Stadium. There’s no doubt World has more than earned this shot, surviving a brutal TBS Championship 4-Way against Kris Statlander, CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone and Hikaru Shida on Dynamite to retain the TBS Title. Is Nightingale making a mistake giving the red-hot World a chance at world championship immortality just eight days before the biggest match of her life in London?
Ah, comrades, here we have a classic tale of honor versus strategy! Willow Nightingale is a woman of her word, fulfilling her promise to give Maya World the first championship opportunity after defeating Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship. This is very socialist of her, honoring the workers’ collective bargaining agreement! But is it wise? The CIA once tried to trick me with a similar ploy, promising me a meeting with President Biden if I would first meet with his advance team in an abandoned warehouse. Naturally, I sent Esteban in my place, and he discovered it was actually a trap involving seventeen armed agents and a net. Esteban enjoyed the exercise, but the lesson was clear: timing is everything, comrades.
Maya World comes into this match as the TBS Champion, having just survived a brutal four-way defense against Kris Statlander, Persephone, and Hikaru Shida on Dynamite. She is red-hot, as the capitalists say, and she has already reminded Nightingale that she could very well be the one facing Mercedes Moné at Wembley Stadium in just eight days. This is the danger of making promises before you consider the full implications, comrades! It is like when I promised Fidel Castro I would help him organize his record collection, not realizing he had over 50,000 vinyl albums. I spent three months in Havana alphabetizing communist propaganda speeches set to salsa music. Steven Van Zandt was there for some reason. He was helpful with the filing system.
AEW Continental Challenge Cup Quarterfinal Match: The Conglomeration’s Orange Cassidy vs. The Conglomeration’s Kyle O’Reilly

A Conglomeration collision continues Continental Challenge Cup Quarterfinal action! Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly are close friends and fellow Conglomerators, but only one can take his spot in next Wednesday’s C3 Semifinals in Glasgow. Cassidy advanced with a win over Matt Sydal in the first round, while O’Reilly already dealt with the mixed feelings of battling a longtime partner when he outlasted Roderick Strong to reach the Quarterfinals. How will The Conglomeration handle this potentially rocky road to All In: London? Find out tonight on a very special Collision Quarterfinal test of skill and friendship!
Ah, the so-called “noble competition” between friends! The capitalist wrestling tournament system forces workers to compete against their own brothers-in-arms, dividing the solidarity of The Conglomeration for the entertainment of the masses! This is exactly the kind of exploitation that happens under the imperialist wrestling industrial complex, comrades. Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly should be uniting to seize the means of production from Tony Khan, not fighting each other for his amusement!
But I understand the allure of competition, comrades. It reminds me of when I challenged Nicolás Maduro to a thumb wrestling competition at Hugo Chávez’s birthday party in 2015. Shakira was there performing, and she kept insisting we should just be friends and share the prize—a solid gold replica of Bolívar’s sword. But no! We wrestled for three hours until finally agreeing to a draw and splitting the sword in half. We both learned an important lesson that day: golden swords are surprisingly easy to saw in half, and Shakira gives excellent advice.
Cassidy advanced by defeating Matt Sydal, while O’Reilly has already experienced the pain of facing a longtime partner, having defeated Roderick Strong to reach this round. Now he must do it again! The winner will advance to the C3 Semifinals in Glasgow next Wednesday, joining Jon Moxley and Nigel McGuinness. This is the path to glory, comrades, but at what cost to friendship? At what cost to solidarity? The Conglomeration must ask themselves: are they a collective, or are they merely individuals competing for the scraps thrown to them by the bourgeoisie?
AEW Continental Challenge Cup Quarterfinal Match: Death Riders’ Claudio Castagnoli vs. Death Riders’ Daniel Garcia
Initially, the blind draw had Castagnoli facing one of his fiercest rivals in Eddie Kingston. Unfortunately, Kingston was ruled out of action due to a medical issue, so Tony Khan announced a play-in between Adam Priest and Castagnoli’s fellow Death Rider, Daniel Garcia, last night at ROH Death Before Dishonor. Garcia came away victorious, and all of a sudden, we have another faction going to battle against each other, on less than 24 hours notice, with high stakes.
There’s no doubt Castagnoli and Garcia have faced off plenty of times in their intense training, but to date, Castagnoli owns the victory in their only singles encounter, which came in the 2023 Continental Classic. To get to the C3 Quarterfinals, Castagnoli took almost all he could handle from Bang Bang Gang’s Ace Austin and came out with the win.
The Death Riders know they’ll have a pair of their best in the C3 Semifinals, no matter how this one goes, but will it be Garcia or Castagnoli who joins AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley in the penultimate round of the Cup?
And now we have yet another example of the workers turning against each other! Claudio Castagnoli was supposed to face his fierce rival Eddie Kingston, but Kingston has been ruled medically unfit to compete. So what does the capitalist pig Tony Khan do? He announces a play-in match at ROH Death Before Dishonor between Adam Priest and Castagnoli’s own Death Riders comrade, Daniel Garcia!
Garcia won that match, creating a Death Riders civil war on less than 24 hours’ notice! This is typical capitalist manipulation, comrades. Divide and conquer! It is exactly what the CIA tried to do when they infiltrated my cabinet in 2018 and convinced my Minister of Agriculture and my Minister of Livestock that they should compete for my favor by seeing who could raise the finest capybara. Little did they know that Esteban was already the finest capybara in all the land, and their entire competition was meaningless! I let them continue for six months before revealing the truth. It was very amusing watching them try to train capybaras to do tricks. Jeff Goldblum was visiting at the time and found the whole thing fascinating.
The Death Riders face an interesting calculation here, comrades. No matter who wins, they will have two representatives in the C3 Semifinals alongside their leader, the AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley. This is good strategic positioning by the faction! They have guaranteed themselves control over the majority of the semifinal bracket. Perhaps there is hope for these workers yet—they are learning to work collectively to manipulate the system to their advantage! This is the first step toward true revolution in professional wrestling!
Castagnoli defeated Garcia in their only previous singles encounter during the 2023 Continental Classic, and he advanced to this round by defeating Ace Austin of the Bang Bang Gang. But Garcia is riding high from his victory over Adam Priest just last night! The momentum could shift the balance, comrades.
How to Watch AEW Collision
For those of you who cannot join Esteban and me here in Reading, Pennsylvania, you can watch AEW Collision live tonight at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and streaming on HBO Max. This is the beauty of modern technology, comrades—the revolution can be televised! Though I still prefer watching it live from my luxury suite, surrounded by my most trusted advisors and one very sophisticated capybara.
The show emanates from the Santander Arena right here in Reading, and there is palpable excitement in the air as we count down just eight days until AEW All In: London at Wembley Stadium! These quarterfinal matches will determine the final two semifinalists who will battle in Glasgow next Wednesday, and the women’s championship match could completely reshape the landscape heading into London!
So join me, comrades, as we witness the workers of AEW battle for glory, championship gold, and the right to advance in this tournament! Will Willow Nightingale successfully defend against Maya World, or will she lose everything just days before her date with destiny against Mercedes Moné? Will The Conglomeration survive their internal collision with friendship intact? Will the Death Riders continue their dominance by securing another semifinal spot?
These questions shall be answered tonight on AEW Collision! And remember, comrades: in professional wrestling as in life, the real championship is the collective bargaining agreement we negotiate along the way. Also, never trust the CIA, and always keep your capybara well-fed with imported cheeses.
¡Viva la revolución! ¡Viva el wrestling!
