Two men are fighting for their lives after they were shot in North Philadelphia just after 8 p.m. on Sunday, police said.
The shooting occurred at the 3600 block of North Sixth Street at around 8:12 p.m., police said. When officers arrived, they found a 25-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, along with another man who was shot, police said.
The 25-year-old was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition, and the condition of the other man is unknown, but he was shot in the leg and wrist, police said.
Investigators believe the shooting occurred inside a grey or silver Nissan Maxima, and the second man shot was seen ditching the gun in a trash can, police said.
The weapon was recovered at the scene, and the second man is considered a suspect, police said. However, the driver of the Nissan fled the scene and police are still looking for the car and the person driving.
