Aug. 16

DUI: At 2:24 a.m., troopers stopped a 2017 Ford F-150 pickup on I-95 north in Ridley Township. The driver, a 38-year-old Philadelphia man, failed a field sobriety test and was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.

Theft: At 3:22 p.m., a victim on Horseshoe Drive in Middletown Township reported they were convinced by subject to transfer approximately $10,000 to a bank account.

Aug. 15

DUI: At 2:55 a.m., troopers stopped a 2022 silver Volkswagen Tiguan on I-95 north in Tinicum Township. During the stop it was found the driver was under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.

Retail theft: At 4:32 p.m., troopers responded to the Wawa at 1073 W. Baltimore Pike in Middletown for a theft. A white male wearing sunglasses and carrying a red cooler entered the store and remained there for several hours. While in the store he took a beer from a fridge and drank it then walked out without paying.

Theft: At 12:12 p.m. troopers responded to Bolling Circle in Concord Township for an ID theft.

Aug. 10

Missing person: At 10:52 p.m. a woman was reported missing from Lenni Road in Middletown. She was later located and taken to Riddle Hospital for medical attention.

Aug. 9

Fleeing: At 2:16 a.m., troopers attempted to stop a 2018 Audi on I-95 south in Tinicum. The driver fled at a high rate of speed and a pursuit ensued. Francisco Zavala-Garcia, 19, of New Castle was taken into custody.

Aug. 6

Criminal mischief: At 12:27 p.m., troopers responded to the Wawa at 1242 W. Baltimore Pike in Middletown for a vandalized state truck.

Robbery: At 11:41 p.m. Christina Carpenter, 35, Aston was charged with aggravated assault, robbery, DUI, disorderly conduct from an incident on West Baltimore Pike in Middletown. Troopers responded for a robbery, laptops and iPhones were taken in the incident involving victims ages 59 and 23. Carpenter is also charged with assaulting a trooper.

Aug. 5

DUI: At 12:35 a.m. troopers responded to a crash on I-476 south in Radnor Township. A 19-year-old man from Woolwich, N.J., was charged with DUI after a lane change resulted in a crash of two vehicles.

July 30

Theft: Troopers took the report of the theft of $3,042 in cosmetics from the CVS on Baltimore Pike in Concord a day earlier.

Scam: A 72-year-old Garnet Valley woman from Cassin Hill Road in Concord reported a theft/fraud/forgery after she sent a $9,500 wire transfer to an unknown individual.

July 28

Domestic assault: At 4:20 p.m. troopers responded to a domestic on I-476 south in Radnor. Radnor police were on location. The 24-year-old male victim from Chester related he was assaulted by his girlfriend. The 24-year-old female from Pedricktown, N.J., was charged.

July 27

Drugs: At 1:36 p.m. troopers stopped a 2017 gold Lexus RX300 on the 200 block of Conchester Highway. Through investigation it was determined the operator was in possession of illegal drugs.

July 25

Theft: At 2:08 p.m., troopers took the report of Verizon copper wire theft at West Rose Tree and North Ridley Creek Road in Upper Providence Township.

Drugs: At 7:57 p.m., troopers stopped a 2011 silver Lexus E350 on the 200 block of Putcan Avenue in Tinicum. Through investigation the driver was found in possession of multiple illegal narcotics.

Drugs: At 10:08 p.m., troopers stopped a 2020 Nissan Sentra on the 400 block of Wilmington West Chester Pike. The operator Michael Crippen, 24, of Wilmington was found to be under the influence of drugs and in possession of illegal drugs.

July 21

Theft: A 76-year-old woman reported the theft of a Old Navy credit card that never came to her, resulting in a $6,656 balance. A debt collection agency required a police report.

July 20

Harassment: At 11:30 a.m., a 73-year-old Glen Mills woman was cited for harassment following a neighbor dispute on Parker Place in Concord.

July 18

Theft: At 1:07 p.m., a victim reported a theft at the Hampton Inn on State Farm Drive in Concord.

May 14

Theft: At 8:24 a.m. a report was taken for unknown subjects who stole $5,254 in Verizon wire cables from police on North Middletown Road in Middletown. Further details were not provided.
