Water main break buckles road in Pittsburgh’s West End
PITTSBURGH —
A water main break buckled a road in Pittsburgh’s West End overnight.
Pittsburgh Public Safety said the break at Chartiers Avenue and Steuben Street will affect traffic throughout the day.
The line is expected to be repaired Monday morning, however the road will remain closed until the underlying damage is fixed.
There are currently road closures at Steuben at Amherst, Steuben at Wabash and Chartiers at Finch Street.
Barricades are blocking off those roads.
