WYOMISSING, Pa. – Residents in the borough of Wyomissing may be experiencing an interruption in water service amid a water main break in the 1000 block of Terrace Avenue.
The break happened late Tuesday morning, and public works crews are on the scene assessing the situation and working to get the issue resolved, police say.
According to borough officials, Terrace Avenue is currently closed to all traffic while crews begin repairs. Police urge motorists to avoid the area and allow crews room to work safely.
Police say residents in the surrounding areas of Penn Avenue, 8th Avenue, Parkside Drive North and Wyomissing Boulevard may experience an interruption in water service or reduced water pressure until the issue is resolved.
