PA CareerLink® Erie County will host PA CareerLink® Days at the Booker T. Washington Center on September 16, offering job seekers, families, and community members direct access to employers, workforce professionals, and career development resources.
The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is designed to connect local residents with employment opportunities and workforce support services available throughout the Erie region. Approximately 25 local employers are expected to participate, representing a wide range of industries and career paths.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with hiring employers, learn about current job openings, and gain insight into the skills and qualifications companies are seeking. Some employers may also conduct on-site interviews, with private interview space available to facilitate additional discussions with candidates.
In addition to employer recruitment, PA CareerLink® Erie County staff will provide information on a variety of no-cost services, including job search assistance, resume development, career planning, workforce training programs, and opportunities designed to help individuals gain valuable work experience.
The event is intended for individuals at every stage of their career journey, whether they are unemployed, seeking advancement opportunities, considering a career change, entering the workforce for the first time, or exploring training options for in-demand occupations.
The event is open to the public and does not require pre-registration. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and be prepared to discuss their qualifications and career goals with participating employers.
