OBITUARY
Margaret Mary Christ (née Stengel), 98, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, at Berks Heim. Born October 6, 1927, in Philadelphia, she was a graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1946.
Margaret worked for many years at the Reading Eagle in the Classified Ad Department before retiring. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and identical twin sister, Dolores.
She was a longtime Campfire Girl Leader and a member of St. Catherine’s 50+ Club.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Barbara Sarangoulis, wife of Terry, and Robin Sarver, wife of Michael; grandchildren, Amy Caltagirone, wife of John, and Terry Sarangoulis, Jr.; her twin sister, Dolores Hildebrand; sister-in-law, Joan Christ; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald E. Christ, Jr.; sons, David E. Christ and Mark E. Christ; and mother, Edna B. Stengel.

A viewing will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA 19560. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery, followed by a graveside service at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605.
