Steelers defensive end DeMarvin Leal has been waived, the team announced Thursday.Also on Thursday, defensive tackle Brodric Martin-Rhodes was signed to Pittsburgh’s 53-man roster from the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad.Leal was a third-round pick out of Texas A&M in the 2022 draft. He played in just three games this season.In August, Leal was among Pittsburgh’s final roster cuts out of training camp. One day later, the Steelers brought Leal back and signed him to the practice squad.
