Two men are charged after a fight led to a stabbing that injured a 19-year-old man Tuesday at a Bethlehem motel, according to officials.
Tyheem Gainey-Stewart, 24, and Imani Sajous, 23, of Coplay are charged in the incident at the Sonesta ES Suites at 2180 Motel Drive, city police said in a news release.
Investigators said Gainey-Stewart and the 19-year-old were having an argument about 6 p.m. when it turned into a physical confrontation involving several people. Gainey-Stewart stabbed the man, authorities said.
The confrontation spread to the parking lot, where Sajous used a knife, the release states. The 19-year-old and a juvenile were injured and hospitalized for treatment of their injuries.
Gainey-Stewart is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. Sajous is charged with simple assault and harassment. They were sent to Lehigh County Jail.
