Two local hotels under new ownership

Two Marriott hotels in Moosic have a new owner.

Greenwich, Connecticut-based Hotel Scranton I L.P. sold the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Scranton Wilkes-Barre, 26 Radcliffe Drive, to Pottstown-based DND Moosic III Nexa Real Estate LLC for $5,016,000, according to a deed recorded Tuesday in Lackawanna County.

Additionally, Greenwich, Connecticut-based VIII-HII-Glenmaura Nat. Blvd. LLC sold Courtyard by Marriott Scranton Montage Mountain, 16 Glenmaura National Blvd., to Pottstown-based DND Moosic II Nexa Real Estate LLC, for $5,280,000, according to a deed recorded Tuesday in Lackawanna County.
