Everhart Museum plans 2027 London-Slough ‘The Office’ tour with only 40 seats available

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — At the Everhart Museum, attendees gathered in The Office Exhibition Thursday evening for a presentation on an upcoming trip that will take travelers to London and include a stop in Slough, England, the town where the U.K. version of The Office is set.

In July 2027, the museum, in partnership with Travel World and Collette Tours, will lead a seven-day trip based primarily in London, with stops at major attractions before a visit to Slough near the end of the tour.

The trip is designed around the connection between the U.S. and U.K. versions of The Office, and it will coincide with the 25th anniversary of the British series.

Tim Holmes, CEO of the Everhart Museum, said the trip builds on the connection Scranton has developed with The Office and gives fans a chance to extend that connection beyond the city.

“The Office has brought a lot of attention to Scranton. If you’re traveling anywhere in the world and you mention you’re from Scranton, they’re going to bring up The Office. I think it’s great that we’re embracing it. Having The Office exhibit here inside the Everhart has drawn people from all over the world. Taking it to that next level by really going international with it, I think, is a really good opportunity,” said Holmes.

Travelers will spend the trip exploring iconic landmarks such as the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace, Greenwich and Windsor Castle. If the trip proves popular, Holmes said it could potentially become an annual offering.

On the day of the Slough tour stop, the group will see the Slough Trading Estate sign and other recognizable filming locations from the U.K. version of The Office. Holmes added that he has reached out to the mayor of Slough in hopes that local dignitaries will meet with the group during the visit.

Pricing starts at $4,608 per person for double occupancy and $5,508 for single occupancy. The listed package includes round-trip airfare from Newark International Airport, air taxes and fees, hotel transfers, lodging and scheduled tour activities.
