Erie Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman wanted in connection with a theft and fraud investigation.
According to police, the incident occurred on August 11, in the 1100 block of East 38th Street. Investigators say the woman shown in surveillance images is a suspect in the case.
Authorities noted that the suspect allegedly wore a wig as a disguise during part of the incident. Police have released images showing the woman both with and without the wig in hopes that someone may recognize her.
Detectives are encouraging anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to come forward. Police say even small details could help advance the investigation.
