Corry scored once in the first half and took that lead into halftime.

“We had a slow start only scoring once in the first half,” Beavers varsity girls soccer head coach Brendan Boucher said. “We did have a lot of shots on net, so that was encouraging.”

The Beavers found their footing in the second half. They came out and scored five goals in the half.

“Four different girls contributed with goals and five with assists,” Boucher said. “The rest of the team did great with maintaining possession and pressing Erie to hold them to zero.”

The Lady Beavers first regular season game is set for Tuesday at Iroquois. First kick is set for 4 p.m.
