SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police have arrested a man for the alleged child abuse of two young children, according to a statement by Scranton City Police.
Jose Leon, 30, was arrested Monday after police received child abuse allegations involving two young children in the 500 block of Cherry Street in South Scranton.
Following the investigation, Leon was arrested and charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, both felonies, and two counts of simple assault, both misdemeanors, according to the statement.

Police also explained that a photograph of Leon was not available at the time of booking, as per their statement.
