Lackawanna County community paid their final respects to a soldier who served our country.
A funeral procession entered Cathedral Cemetery along Oram Street in West Scranton as friends, family, and local officials prepared to honor Master Sergeant Paul Welby.
Welby passed away on August 21st after about a year-long battle with cancer.
He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard for 19 years and was a member of various veterans’ programs in scranton.
