SCRANTON — Miller’s Orchards Farm Market is joining the Electric City Farmers Market on Tuesday in downtown Scranton.
The seventh-generation family farm in Scott Twp. will sell chicken, pork, eggs and beef, seasonal fruit, and homemade meals such as pot pies, quiches and soups.
The Scranton market is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Christopher A. Doherty Park at Linden Street and Wyoming Avenue. There is live music from noon to 2.
Shoppers can also buy fresh produce from Hopkins Farm, baked goods from Cypress House at St. Luke’s Church, and plants from Pierro Plant and Garden Center.
The market sells shirts and tote bags featuring the Electric City Farmers Market logo. Shirts cost $15 and tote bags cost $8.
Scranton Tomorrow launched the market in July, with support from the Architectural Heritage Association.
