Gwen Mazur scored the game-winning goal off an assist from Amelia Mackey at the 72:47 mark to lead Mid Valley past Lake-Lehman, 3-2, in a nonleague girls soccer match Monday at Mid Valley.
The game was a rematch of last year’s District 2 Class 2A semifinal that the Spartanettes won, 6-1.
Mazur added a goal in the first half, Kaelynn Karlavige had a goal and Medina Graham had 11 saves for Mid Valley.
Kinley Purdy and Ava Blazes had Lake-Lehman’s goals.

Holy Cross 6, Carbondale Area 1: At Schautz Stadium, Liza Froncek had a hat trick, including the 50th goal of her career, to lead the Lady Crusaders to a Lackawanna League Division III victory.
Froncek also passed 2015 graduate Felicia Dzielak, who finished her career with 49 goals, for the school record.
Olivia Wasp added a goal and two assists, Alexis Wasp had a goal and an assist and Natalya Musto tacked on a goal for Holy Cross.
Aubrey Borosky scored the lone goal for Carbondale Area.
