Lena Peregrim puts out fresh banana bread Tuesday as she works with her mother and owner of Miller’s Orchards, Amber Peregrim, during the Electric City Farmers Market at Christopher A. Doherty Park in downtown Scranton. The seventh-generation family farm in Scott Twp. has joined the market and offers chicken, pork, eggs and beef, seasonal fruit and homemade meals such as pot pies, quiche and soups. The market is open Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Linden Street and Wyoming Avenue. Scranton Tomorrow launched the market in July, with support from the Architectural Heritage Association. Other vendors are Hopkins Farm, Cypress House at St. Luke’s Church and Pierro Plant and Garden Center.
