BANGOR, Pa. (WOLF) — A Friday afternoon motorcycle crash in Northampton County left one rider dead and another seriously injured, according to state police.
Troopers said 46-year-old Chad Hess of Bangor lost control of his motorcycle on North Delaware Drive in Lower Mount Bethel Township.
Investigators said Hess crossed into the northbound lane and collided with another motorcycle.
The other rider, 50-year-old John Gurski of Bangor, was taken to Saint Lukes Hospital Anderson Camp with serious injuries, police said.
Hess was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
