Police are investigating after more than a dozen vehicles were vandalized at Saint Joseph’s University earlier this week.
Authorities said two suspects smashed the windows of at least 19 vehicles inside a campus parking garage along the 5200 block of City Avenue on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
The suspects are being described as two men, one last seen wearing a gray hoodie and gray sweatpants, and the other wearing a maroon hoodie and black jeans.
No one was injured during the incident, a spokesperson, Kevin Gfeller, shared in a statement.
Students are urged to lock their vehicles and keep all their valuables out of sight.
The statement read in part:
“Saint Joseph’s University is aware of the recent vandalism of multiple vehicles on campus. The University’s Office of Public Safety and Security is actively collaborating with the Philadelphia Police Department, which is leading the investigation.
The safety and well-being of our community remain the University’s top priority. While we are grateful no one was injured, we recognize the concern and frustration these incidents have caused. The University has notified our community members to remain vigilant, lock their vehicles and avoid leaving valuables in plain sight.
Public Safety will continue focused patrol activity in the area during the ongoing investigation.”
