The Erie Regional Chamber presented a donation check to Future Focused Academy on Tuesday, in support of the organization’s mission to prepare young adults for success.
Future Focused Academy, a nonprofit organization serving young adults ages 18 to 23, provides essential life skills training, financial literacy education and career readiness programming designed to help participants build successful futures.
Supporting workforce development and preparing the next generation of Erie’s workforce has remained a key component of the Erie Regional Chamber’s commitment to strengthening the region’s business community.
Through its donation, the Chamber reinforced its support for organizations like Future Focused Academy that help young people develop pathways to opportunity, career success and long-term stability.
The presentation was part of Spirit of Erie, the Erie Regional Chamber’s signature community celebration. Expanded into a weeklong series of events this year, Spirit of Erie highlighted the individuals, organizations and causes that contribute to making Erie a strong and vibrant community.
The check presentation took place at the UPMC Health Plan Neighborhood Center in Erie and brought together community leaders and supporters who recognize the importance of investing in young adults and workforce development initiatives throughout the region.
The Erie Regional Chamber’s contribution will help Future Focused Academy continue providing resources, guidance and training opportunities that empower young adults to achieve personal and professional success.
