Road reopens hours after ‘pavement failure’ in Allegheny County
ALLISON PARK, Pa. —
UPDATE: PennDOT officials said McCully Road reopened to traffic as of 8 p.m. Wednesday night.

PREVIOUS: A gaping hole has led to the emergency closure of a road in Allegheny County on Wednesday.
PennDOT officials said due to a pavement failure in a work zone, McCully Road is closed to traffic between Topnick Drive and Short Street in Hampton Township.
Sky 4, Pittsburgh’s only news chopper, flew over the scene, where a large hole in the roadway was seen left behind.
