Alfredo’s Café is a Gold Sponsor of the 14th annual Capt. James R. Minicozzi Memorial Race, presented through the UNICO Scranton Chapter, taking place Saturday at 10 a.m. in downtown Scranton during La Festa Italiana. Participants are invited to run (5K) or walk (1 mile). Preregistration is $25 at runsignup.com/Minicozzi. Race day registration is $35 at Linden Street and North Washington Avenue from 8-9:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit the children at the Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA for their annual Christmas party and college scholarships at West Scranton High School.
