WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – The company behind the popular Labubu dolls and other designer toys is continuing to grow its brick-and-mortar footprint with a new store in Lehigh County.
The first Lehigh Valley location of Pop Mart, a market-leading character-based entertainment company and a global champion of designer toy culture, opened on Friday, Aug. 28, at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall Township, a store manager told 69 News.
The new store is located on the mall’s lower level near Boscov’s.
It occupies an updated space that was previously home to Sugar Bear, a candy store now known as Sugar Dynasty, which relocated to the former Francesca’s space.
Pop Mart labels itself a “rising global force in pop culture and entertainment,” aiming to “celebrate daily moments and inspire through designer toys and fun experiences.”
Pop Mart has more than 500 stores in over 30 countries and regions, along with more than 2,300 roboshops and e-commerce.
Another regional Pop Mart store opened in recent weeks at the King of Prussia Mall in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County.
“Our focus is IP incubation & operations, designer toys and retail, theme parks & experiences, also digital entertainment,” a company description reads.
“… We manage & represent incredible artists from all over the world. Our roster spans dozens of iconic characters, like Molly, Dimoo, Skullpanda, The Monsters, Hirono and more.”
At the new Lehigh Valley Mall store, individuals can shop a wide array of popular character figurines, plush dolls, plush pendants and more.
Other popular characters and collections include Crybaby, Duckoo, Peach Riot and Twinkle Twinkle.
The store operates during regular mall hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.
