Pennsylvania firefighters return after aiding wildfire containment in Minnesota and Washington
DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. —
Pennsylvania firefighters have come home after assisting in wildfire containment in Minnesota and Washington.
The two wildland firefighting crews returned Thursday morning to Dauphin County.
“Here in Pennsylvania, we have a really well-trained crew, and we showed well on the Washington stage. We got a lot of feedback from our supervisor, and we’re invested in training crews here and sending out qualified crews to get the job done on a national scene,” Type 2 firefighter Michael Hoffman said.
