EASTON, Pa. – A Dunkin’ eatery is once again serving coffee and doughnuts in Northampton County.
Following a weeks-long temporary closure due to flooring issues, the Dunkin’ restaurant at 54 Centre Square in downtown Easton reopened on Wednesday, an employee told 69 News.

The flooring has been repaired, and the location is once again operating as normal daily, the employee said.
Following a routine inspection, the Easton Health Bureau on Aug. 12 closed the Centre Square Dunkin’ restaurant until further notice due to the flooring issues, Easton health administrator Jarrad Schantzenbach previously told 69 News.
Schantzenbach said he had suspended the Dunkin’ restaurant’s license so that “the right fixes can be made.”
Schantzenbach couldn’t elaborate on the exact flooring issues or the severity of the issues.

Dunkin’ is the largest coffee and doughnuts brand in the United States, with more than 14,200 restaurants in nearly 40 global markets.
Founded by Bill Rosenberg in 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts, Dunkin’ is now owned by Atlanta-based Inspire Brands, a multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio also includes Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, SONIC Drive-In, Rusty Taco, and Jimmy John’s.
In Pennsylvania, the chain has more than 650 locations, including more than 40 locations in the Lehigh Valley.
