Be an Angel, The Morning Call’s holiday campaign in support of Lehigh Valley nonprofits, is returning for its 27th year.
To help prepare, we are once again asking Lehigh Valley nonprofits to send us their wish lists for our angels to fulfill.
The 2025 campaign resulted in nearly $122,500 in donations of goods, gift cards and money to participating organizations. Over the past quarter-century, Be an Angel has brought in more than $6.3 million in donations for organizations serving the community’s needs.
Donations last year included thousands of dollars worth of clothing for Allentown Rescue Mission, food donations for Lehigh Valley pantries, books for the Cops ‘n’ Kids Children’s Literacy Program and pet food for animal welfare groups.
Nonprofit organizations that have participated in past campaigns should receive emails inviting them to participate. If you don’t receive an email, or are a new organization that wishes to participate, send an email to us at beanangel@mcall.com, and we’ll make sure you receive our 2026 wish list form.
Agencies are invited to send up to three things they need most. Among common requests are items for clients, office equipment, volunteers to fulfill the nonprofit’s mission, gift cards and monetary donations.
