At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded Aug. 27 to Sept. 4
Three critical violations
Fairfield Hose Co. 27. 4896 East Lake Road, Harborcreek Township. (Container of whole milk expired on Aug. 28 and several other products not date-marked after being thawed; paper towel dispenser at the handwashing sink was empty; dishwasher was not dispensing sanitizer properly.) Also 2 noncritical violations. Sept. 1
Two critical violations
Parade Street Check, 1719 Parade St. (Handwashing sink in kitchen area is blocked, an ongoing issue; no paper towels at handwash sink in restroom.) Also 2 noncritical violations. Sept. 1
One critical violation
Toreros Mexican Restaurant, 1940 Douglas Parkway, Summit Township. (Milk and cream at make table found at 55 degrees.) Also 2 noncritical violations. Aug. 27
