Scranton Prep, the reigning PIAA Class 2A champion, defeated Seton Catholic and Vestal, two New York teams in nonleague girls tennis Saturday.
Lily Lengyel picked up wins at No. 1 singles in both matches. She defeated Caroline Knudson, 6-3, 7-6 (7-2), in the Seton Catholic victory. Lengyel also beat Vestal’s Sophie Sweet, 6-4, 6-4.
Hannah LaCoe also had two wins at No. 3 singles for the Classics.
