WEST PITTSTON, Pa. — After creating this piece of wall art, you will have a true “pocket full of posies!” Home and Backyard headed to The Crooked Branch gift shop to craft with owner Angie Roback. Angie had a fun way of upcycling old jeans to create a denim pocket full of flowers frame.
We were excited to craft together with Angie. For this project, Angie used an old pair of jeans, hot glue, fabric scissors, a frame, and various faux flower stems of flowers, berries, pine cones and leaves. She cut the pockets out of a pair of old unwanted jeans. She then adhered the fabric to the frame with hot glue “pocket side out.” After the fabric glue dries, she added the floral pieces in the pocket arranging them as if it were a vase. This craft is fun, easy and a great way to show your creativity! The really look great on a wall or easel…..jean-ious idea Angie!
