Police: Man stabbed in chest with kitchen knife during argument in Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH —
A man is in the hospital recovering after being stabbed in the chest during a domestic incident Sunday in Pittsburgh, police said.
Officers and medics arrived at a home on Copperfield Avenue in Pittsburgh at 7 a.m., where they found the injured man.
The man told officers that his wife stabbed him. According to the complaint, the man said Natalia Konieva did this to him and used a kitchen knife to stab him.
Officials say Konieva told them she didn’t understand English and that her husband had threatened to kill her during an argument.
According to court documents, officers also found a knife in the kitchen sink.
Konieva was arrested after being taken to the hospital for an injury she allegedly inflicted on herself into the back of a police cruiser.
After being cleared, she was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
