Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash in West Homestead, Allegheny County
WEST HOMESTEAD, Pa. —
Allegheny County police are investigating a motorcycle crash in West Homestead that left a man critically injured Monday evening.
Police said the crash happened just after 5:40 p.m. in the 600 block of West 7th Avenue.
“Preliminary information shows the victim attempted to do a wheelie when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck a utility pole,” police said in a statement.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said.
The crash is under investigation by county homicide detectives.
