The Berks County commissioners will continue to make themselves a little more accessible to residents by holding a series of traveling town hall sessions.

The board on Thursday approved the 2027 schedule for the evening meetings, which will be held in a variety of communities across the county.

Officials have said the town hall meetings give them the ability to share information about the county and provide updates on projects. The meetings also give residents an opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions.

The commissioners approved the following schedule:

• Jan. 20: Schuylkill Valley Community Library, 1310 Washington Road, Leesport.

• Feb. 9: Fleetwood Area Public Library,110 W. Arch St., Fleetwood.

• March 2: Brandywine Community Library, 60 Tower Drive, Topton.

• April 21: Womelsdorf Community Library, 203 W. High St., Womelsdorf.

• May 4: Hamburg Public Library, 35 N. Third St., Hamburg.

• Sept. 14: Sinking Spring Public Library, 3940 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring.

• Oct. 6: West Lawn-Wyomissing Hills Library, 101 Woodside Ave., West Lawn.

• Nov. 9: Village Library of Morgantown, 207 N. Walnut St., Morgantown.

The doors will open at 6 p.m., and the meetings will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

There will be no town halls scheduled for June, July, August and December.
