13th Annual Steamtown Music Awards

The 13th Annual Steamtown Music Awards ceremony will take place Thursday at 6 p.m. at the V Spot, 906 Providence Road, Scranton. Doors open at 5:30. Good Things Are Happening Fest

Good Things Are Happening Fest is returning to the Scranton Iron Furnaces in Scranton on Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. The festival will feature national touring acts, regional performers, local bands, art, food, craft beer and a vibrant festival atmosphere at one of Scranton’s most historic landmarks. Oktoberfest 2026 is set for Friday from 4-10 p.m. and Saturday from noon-10 p.m. at the outdoor tent at Breaker Brewing Company in Wilkes-Barre Twp. The annual two-day celebration features live music, German food, beer specials, games and local vendors. Rain-or-shine celebration open to all ages. Second Annual Quoits for Kyle Tournament

Second Annual Quoits for Kyle Tournament is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. at the North End Fire Company, 118 N. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove. The event includes food, bounce house, drinks, shopping, raffles, local vendors, music and petting zoo. The event benefits the Cleary children and the Cardinal Wrestling Club in Kyle Cleary’s memory.
