Pittsburgh Steelers rookie Max Iheanachor’s home burglarized, over $150,000 in items stolen
PITTSBURGH —
Pittsburgh Steelers rookie and first-round draft pick Max Iheanachor‘s Mount Washington home was burglarized, with more than $150,000 in high-end items stolen and damage done to the property, according to multiple sources.

A boarded-up window was visible on the side of Iheanachor’s home.
Pittsburgh police said a rock was thrown through the window and found on the floor inside when a Steelers player, who Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 confirmed to be Iheanachor, returned home at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 26, one day before Pittsburgh’s preseason game against Buffalo.
Police said the Steeler discovered his garage door open and reported that expensive jewelry and designer handbags were missing.

Investigators believe the break-in occurred between 10:30 a.m., when the last person left the home, and 1:30 p.m., when both Iheanachor and that person returned.
Police say they are searching for surveillance cameras in the area as part of their investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
The Steelers declined to comment and referred inquiries to Pittsburgh police.
