Burglars steal at least $150,000 from Steelers rookie Max Iheanachor, sources say
Pittsburgh Steelers rookie offensive tackle and first-round draft pick Max Iheanachor’s home was burglarized, with more than $150,000 in high-end items stolen and damage done to the property, according to multiple sources.

Pittsburgh police said a rock was thrown through the window and was found on the floor inside when a Steelers player, who sister station WTAE confirmed to be Iheanachor, returned home at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 26, one day before Pittsburgh’s preseason game against Buffalo.
Police said the Steeler discovered his garage door open and reported that expensive jewelry and designer handbags were missing.
Investigators believe the break-in happened between 10:30 a.m., when the last person left the home, and 1:30 p.m., when both Iheanachor and that person returned.
Police said they are searching for surveillance cameras in the area as part of their investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
The Steelers took Iheanachor out of Arizona State with the 21st selection in this year’s NFL draft. Iheanachor is listed second at right tackle on the Steelers’ depth chart for their season opener Sunday against Atlanta.
The Steelers declined to comment on the burglary and referred inquiries to Pittsburgh police.
