NORTHAMPTON CO. (WOLF) — More than 50 workers will be affected by the closure of a logistics facility in Northampton County, according to a newly filed Pennsylvania WARN notice.
Kenco Logistic Services, LLC notified the state that it will close its facility at 150 Cesanek Road in Northampton.
The closure will affect 52 employees.
According to the WARN filing, the employment impacts are expected to begin November 16, 2026, with the closure process continuing through April 1, 2027.
The notice does not provide a reason for the closure or specify whether the affected employees will lose their jobs at once or in stages during the nearly five-month period.
Kenco provides logistics and supply-chain services, including warehousing, distribution and transportation operations.
The federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act generally requires covered employers to provide advance notice of certain large layoffs and facility closures, giving affected employees time to prepare for the loss of employment and seek other work or training.
The Northampton County filing is the latest WARN notice involving Pennsylvania workers this year.
FOX56 has asked Kenco for comment but has yet to hear back.
