A Scranton man aimed a firearm at another man and threatened to shoot him after alleging the other man cut him off in traffic, according to a criminal complaint.
Matthew Demarco, 32, is charged with making terroristic threats and harassment.
According to the criminal complaint:
Demarco and Peter Graziano were driving east on the Casey Highway on Thursday at about 9:30 a.m.
Both men exited the highway toward Jessup, with Graziano in the right lane and Demarco in the left lane.
Demarco, of 926 Stafford Ave., lowered his passenger side window and yelled that Graziano had cut him off in traffic. The two argued.
Demarco aimed a black handgun at Graziano and threatened to kill him.
State police found Demarco at Loyalty Barber Shop in Archbald, where he works.
He admitted there was an altercation but told a different version of the story than Graziano.
Troopers found the firearm inside the barbershop, stored in a black leather holster and unloaded.
Officers identified the firearm as a Stoeger 9mm handgun.
Demarco has a preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. on Nov. 17 before District Judge Kipp Adcock.
