Girls volleyball
Avarie Roscioli had 22 kills and 16 digs, Julia Black had 49 assists, and Ryan Masters had 18 digs, leading North Pocono to a 3-1 (25-17, 22-25, 25-18, 25-23) win over Dunmore on Wednesday in a Lackawanna League girls volleyball match.
Emmy Jennings added 14 digs, Ashtynne DeLucy and Abby Franklin each had nine kills for North Pocono (3-0).
Elena Piepoli had her 500th career dig, becoming the first player in Dunmore program history to reach the milestone. She finished with seven digs.
Katelyn Henry had 16 assists and eight kills, Michelle Nidoh had eight kills, Madison Morgan had five kills, and Molly Spager and Kierstyn Yannone each had four digs for the Lady Bucks (1-2).
Valley View 3, Lakeland 0: At Valley View, Layla Marino had 11 aces and 11 kills, leading the Cougars to a 25-22, 25-14, 25-13 win in Division II.
Maggie Hallett contributed 16 assists and eight aces, and Emma Pienkowski had six kills for Valley View (3-0).
Adeline Biondo had 10 digs and eight service points, Meadow Biamonte had six service points and four kills, and Eliana Rogari had 11 service points and seven digs to pace Lakeland (1-2).
West Scranton 3, Lackawanna Trail 1: At West Scranton, Aubrey Kerrigan had seven kills, 13 digs, and four aces in a Division II win for the Lady Invaders, 25-11, 24-26, 25-23, 25-15.
Morgan Baumgardner added five kills, four aces, and nine digs. Sydney Williams had five aces, nine kills, and eight digs, and Violetta O’Hora had 14 assists for West Scranton (2-1).
For Lackawanna Trail (0-2), Lız Harvey had 18 digs and six kills, Lena Van Fleet had 15 digs, and Donata Schneider had eight service points, five aces, and three kills.
Elk Lake 3, Susquehanna 2: At Susquehanna, Aleece Greenley had 14 kills, 11 digs, and five service points as Elk Lake posted a 25-21, 25-19, 15-25, 14-25, 15-7 win in Division II.
Alex Perez added seven service points and six aces, and Brook Tonkovich added 21 assists, six service points, three kills and three aces for Elk Lake (2-1).
Susquehanna’s Lauren Huyck had nine digs, including the 500th of her career, and had 14 assists. Piper Heller added five kills and three aces, Jordyn Spoor had seven aces and 10 digs, and Rowan Albert had five kills for the Lady Sabers (1-2).
Dallas 3, Delaware Valley 0: At Delaware Valley, Cece Dickerson and Peyton Machado each had seven kills for Delaware Valley in a 25-23, 25-15, 25-17 loss in the Wyoming Valley Conference.
Makayley Hughes finished with 21 assists, and Kayla Snyder had 15 digs for the Lady Warriors (0-1).
Field hockey
Lyla Ryon scored the game-winning goal with 1:07 left in the fourth, lifting Lackawanna Trail to a 3-2 win over Dallas in a Wyoming Valley Conference field hockey match.
Kacie Higgins and Willow Ritter each scored goals for the Lady Lions.
Caitlyn Mizzer and Sara Bonomo scored for Dallas.
