ALLENTOWN, Pa. – So long, Coca-Cola Park. The Lehigh Valley IronPigs’ home will soon have a new name.

The iconic Allentown ballpark will be called Jefferson Park, announced Jefferson Health’s CEO Joseph Cacchione at a news conference Thursday.

Jefferson Health will be the team’s new partner.

The renaming will take effect in the 2027 season, the IronPigs said in a news release.

“Jefferson is proud to stand alongside the IronPigs in a partnership that reflects our commitment to strengthen the communities in which we serve,” said Cacchione.

“As with the upcoming Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic, we are committed to making a long-term positive impact on the Lehigh Valley and the surrounding areas.”

He said he is grateful to the team and the dedicated staff who made the franchise a success.

“This initiative expands the long-standing relationship between the IronPigs and Lehigh Valley Health Network, which spans nearly 20 seasons,” said Kurt Landes, IronPigs president and general manager, noting that Coca-Cola will remain a valued IronPigs partner and continue as the team’s exclusive beverage provider.

“We had a strategic and deliberate process to ensure we found an organization that shares our vision, values our fans and shares our commitment to the Lehigh Valley. The partnership will extend beyond the ballpark into the community through a variety of initiatives involving both IronPigs Charities and other key partners.”

“Jefferson Park will stand as a testament to our commitment to fans of the IronPigs and to the Lehigh Valley region as a whole,” said Nick Ragone, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Jefferson.

“Baseball is America’s pastime and we cannot think of a better way to highlight that than by forging a solid relationship with the Phillies Triple-A franchise, joining forces to make them the best they can be.”

The team said additional details and enhancements will be finalized and shared in the coming months.

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs and ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages held a joint news conference earlier this year to announce that the team will be concluding its naming rights partnership for Coca-Cola Park in September 2027.

Officials said the current agreement is set to come to its planned completion at that time.

For 20 years, ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages has served as the stadium’s naming rights partner, and by conclusion of the agreement, the team will have drawn over 11 million fans to Coca-Cola Park for IronPigs games plus hundreds of thousands more for other events.

ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages says it will remain a founding partner of the organization and an active partner of the IronPigs, continuing its involvement in ballpark initiatives and IronPigs charitable events.

“We’ve been blessed to have a partner such as Coca-Cola who helped establish our efforts for the first 20 years of our ballpark’s legacy,” IronPigs President and General Manager Kurt Landes said at the news conference earlier this year.
