Pennsylvania student teachers face Sept. 15 deadline for $10,000 stipends

Student teachers in Pennsylvania have until Tuesday, Sept. 15, to apply for $10,000 stipends through the PA Student Teacher Support Program.
The program is awarding stipends on a first-come, first-served basis.
Teachers who mentor and assist student teachers are also eligible to receive up to $2,500.
Eligibility requirements include committing to work as a teacher in Pennsylvania for three years, being currently enrolled in a Pennsylvania higher education institution, and maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA.
